- In September 2022, at a project site in Kaohsiung, both another brand's film and Hong Chia film were replaced at the same time. After a year and a half, a comparison between the two greenhouses showed that the other brand's film had developed noticeable moss growth, reducing light transmittance, while the Taiwan-made Hong Chia film remained noticeably brighter
- At a farm in Puli, Taichung city, which is a high- humidity area, the farm previously replaced its film with Hong Chia film. After more than a year, it was observed that moss growth was significantly reduced. Originally, the film had to be cleaned once a year, but with the new film, the cleaning frequency can be reduced
- At a seedling farm in Chiayi city, after using HC diffused film, the strawberry seedlings were less prone to excessive elongation
